I need some dangly ones to go with a black dress for a very dressy occasion. Dress doesn't allow a necklace so the earrings need to make the statement!

Not keen 'on the hook through the earlobe' ones - prefer a stud-type fixing if poss.I like no colour -crystal/diamante. Even better if there's matching bracelet/bangle

But I can' t tell what's naff from what's not!

What's hot ladies?

I should also add there's a budget - ....is there anything under £40?

if you want something dangly then you're going to have trouble finding without a hook.....is there any particular reason why you don't want a hook?

and what's your budget?

Ok - will consider hook :)
It's just on some of them it can make them look a bit flimsy.
Can go to £40-50 for earrings.

these are 45 but stunning, these would be great with them. Mind you, you'd probably find similar on ebay for a lot less...

I'll have a look for something cheaper after the DC are in bed, if your not sorted by then.

Love the S&D ones and matching bracelet

It's a posh do with senior colleagues of DH's so I need them to say - "this person is not over 40 and frumpy ...she may have gone safe with ablack dress but she KNOWS what's cool" !!!

If you're going old school safe with the dress and jewelery then it's down to the shoes to give it an edge. Can you manage killer coloured heals? If so, which colours and how high can you go?

...and budget, if you don't already have some...

Have the killer heels thanks - bought them as soon as they slipped on my slightly wide feet and I didn't go 'ouch!" it was done deal at at that point!

Wasn't going to go black, but the dress is lovely and has a bit of lace going on, and more importantly I felt great in it.

Whispers... ( they were from Coast )...
Borrowed some in the changing room whilst trying one of their dresses and nearly wept with joy when they fitted so well. Forget the dress - give me some of these lovelies!
