Should you ever give in to the greys? If so at what age and hoe do you do it without looking like a skunk??? Should you go lighter to help it blend for a bit?

Come on ladies what will you do / have you done?

I went lighter and the grey blends in - works well and only need it doing 3 or 4 x a year as it lasts ages.

I went cold turkey and stopped dyeing. Was horrible while it was growing out, but now I have fabulous teen daughters approved black and silver stripey hair. Needed the help of a decent expensive hairdresser to get a non-ageing cut though.

I'm gradually going lighter. Now my hair is sort of caramel coloured so the greys and silvers blend in. It does need doing every 3-4 weeks and is costly. By the time I'm 70 (10 years to go), the silver will have taken over completly.

Depends how grey you are! If you're all grey I'd call it quits but if you've got grey strands then I'd keep going - although its a losing battle.

went lighter (too light really) and now going cold turkey. Actually doesn't look that awful, and really liberating not having to dye it every 2 weeks.

39 and all grey, with white at the front. I gave up fighting it the beginning of last year, and I love it now
