How would you accessorise this dress?

I have recklessly been and bought this dress. I have two weddings coming up with, thankfully, no overlap of guests. The dress is amazingly flattering but not blue as it looks in the picture, it is actually purple really, sort of a bright clear purple. In winter, I would accessorise it in black, but that seems wrong for summer weddings. I need shoes, cardi/shrug/coverup, hair thingy/hat maybe bag? What do I need? What colour? Help me someone!!!! I will love you forever.

I would mebbe go for a strappy heel in a bright colour and a patterend clutch with either colour or both in it

Any old throw around your shoulders.

Dont bother with hair/hat thingy, wear fab dangly earrings instead

I'll have a looky...

I would go silver strappy heels, not a wedge, maybe a platform, silver bag and silver-grey pashmina ( a good thick one, not a synthetic one). Snake print comes in silver too.
Or a bit more daring, but lime green or fuchsia pink are both good contrasts with that violet-blue. (Not together obviouslyGrin.
I have a merino dress that colour and can accessorise in silver, lime or fuchsia, all work brilliantly.

Silver sounds great, or silver snake print. MmeCholet, love those heels but I couldn't stand up in them without a friend on either side to hold me upright. I normally wear converse. Are there heels for scaredy-cats out there?
I think I might have a silver bag in the back of the wardrobe somewhere.
Anyone want to point me in the direction of wrappy-pashmina thingys? Freshlettice, thank you. I think silver is the way to go.

What about these? Too frumpy? I don't think I could cope with anything higher!

Silver accessories anyone?
I have limited imagination and have blown virtually all my budget on the dress itself. Anyone seen a nice silver cardi/shrug/pashwotsit about?
