I'm not a fan of flesh coloured tights...

however, I'm working in a very warm environment and need to wear a skirt soon.

My problem is pale and not very shapely legs, although they're not exactly fat.

I cannot be bothered with the fake tan treadmill so, are there any nice tights that give the illusion of a reasonable pair of legs?

I hate normal nude tights but love nude micro fishnets. They are just much less middle aged and actually look quite chic imo. And go with everything. Accessorize do them or most big dept stores

Ahem - I am middle aged and wear nude micronets - it's the one thing the office fashionista compliments me on and asks about where I get them (I personally buy from tightsplease.co.uk - also black ones better than opaques and cooler to wear)

Nude micronets too here - look great, don't snag/run, and not shiny. I'm 39 - not sure if thats middle aged ?

Wolford do some nice (if expensive) ones. The girl in Le Printemps thought I had lovely tanned legs until I pointed out that I was wearing a pair of them (and buying another pair). [preens] or deluded

It pains me when they ladder at that price though...

Are nude micronet cooler than normal tights? Am thinking they could be good for my mum for a summer wedding (she has eczema and bruises on her legs).

Ooh I am interested in these!! Anyone link to good ones?

My favoured ones are Levante, but they seem to be out of stock in nude atm. I've also had Charnos and Jonathon Aston

They are def less sticky somehow, but don't show bruises through

OK, so perhaps I'm not too old for micronets. I'm not into tights really but would like to have legs that look nicely tanned but not too obviously tights IYKWIM.

jamaisjedors which tights were you wearing and what shade? I want some.

The accessorize ones are only a fiver, worth trying it out at this price first? here

Sorry trinni didnt mean to offend. There is a difference between being middle aged and dressing middle aged though Grin

do they come in shades suitable for darker skin tones? (have seen Beyonce wearing similar, but guessing they're hardcore dance fishnets)

CMOTDibbler · 12/03/2012 21:21

Yep - the Levante Mocca ones would look lovely if you are dark skinned

You didn't offend me Gillybobs, I completely agree with not dressing like an oldie and I definitely hope I don't!

I like the look of those tights actually. Can I ask one last fussy question? Do they give a bit of colour to your legs or will my paleness shine through?

Thats why you need micro fishnets rather than ordinary fishnets. Less "show through" : ))

moo I think Accessorize do a few shades in their range too

I had my shiny Nora batty nude tight on today and thought to myself that there must be something less sweaty better than this on the Market!

I have thin enough legs but very pale and I bruise very easily, these look great Smile

Thank you for this!

I never knew such a site existed.

Have browsed and ordered some of those micro fishnets and a couple of other pairs. Also went through Top Cash Back, so will earn money too Grin.

No no no to Accesorize tights....really bad quality, and pill or snag very easily.

I agree they arent investment tights but suggested them to those who might be trying the style out for the first time.
