Short, big boobs, don't want to look frumpy.

I feel that being short with big boobs, i always end up looking fatter than I am and everything looks so unflattering on me. Coats especially!
I'm currently size 16 (but about to start working on that next week. New Years Resolution and all that. Grin and get back into my 12s)
Are those wrap tops the best way to go? I find they can be rather too clingy round my belly which I hate.

im the same - wrap tops are shit i dont give a fuck what gok says - you have to be a size 8 to pull them off

i find that shift dresses are awesome for work, you can dress sown with a cardigan ir up with a jacket

i get mine from ebay

Haha, fuck Gok! Grin

I love the look of shift dresses but always have had that nagging unofficial rule ringing in my ears about avoiding high necks when you have big boobs as it makes them look bigger. Right now though, I'm starting to not give a toss as I'm sick to death of always flashing my bra in low cut tops. Angry

or cleavage in a professional environment - just one dropped pencil and suddenly your all tits.

i think a high neckline is fine with something like a cardican to break it up

i actually wear a shirt underneath pinifore typr dresses to break up the eyeline ~(and layer as its fking cold where i work)

I'm in the big boob short waist club, and it is far too easy to wind up looking like I'm 20 years older than I am. I've had to give up on the v-necks a fair bit since I've changed job too which makes it even harder. At the moment my uniform tends to be skater/fit and flare/circle cut/whatever you want to call them dresses, often with a little cardigan or a smarter jacket over depending on what I'm doing at work that day. Basically, normally heavy jersey dresses that nip in under the bust/at the waist but then float over hips and post baby tummy.

Added bonus that I don't have to truss myself up in spanx on a daily basis.

I bought this recently and it's very flattering (I have similar things in darn near every colour going.)

I also have this which is a little smarter (different fabric) and looks nice with a smart jacket - the picture is crap as the cowl is a bit more obvious in reality. There is a blue version on sale at the moment.

I know how you feel, I often look matronly, which is particularly grim. Are your legs ok? I wear short skirts and loose tops/ big jumpers. Or jeans with soft shirts and fitted cardi over.

Im short and I tried on one of those silicone filled bras once, made me look fat because it bought my boobs closer to my waist.

So I'd say buy a supportive bra to hoik your boobs up, it will make your waist look smaller. There not called foundation garments for nothing.

As your dieting (cut out butter and margarine type spreads worked a treat for me) get measured (not in m&s) and then go to tk maxx, they do good supportive bras cheaply.

Have you tried pepperberry? Most of it's fitted at the waist so should give you a nice shape. I haven't actually ordered from them myself as I'm not as busty as I used to be, but a friend of mine is short with big boobs and loves their stuff! (It's bravissimo's clothes range by the way).

Yeah get some good bras. When I splashed out and got fitted my boobs looked much better in my new bras.

Yes, I could do with some new bras actually.
Ooh, thanks. That Pepperberry site looks great. Especially the Sale prices. Grin
