Sorry to hear that. I think for something like Uggs it's best to go to a reputable high street retailer. The website is poorly translated into English and the main thing is that there is no contact address and telephone number, just an e-mail address which no doubt connects to a black hole. I hope you get your money back.

I don't buy anything from a website that doesn't have a phone number or po box address or any address.

That looks like the website my dp got mine from, they took 2 weeks but did come and the tracking email was crap I checked it and it said they were enroute to hong kong then ups knocked on the door.

I compared them to my friends genuine £230 ones and they look real have holograms etc. He paid £87 for mine.

Have you had a tracking email?

ONLY buy from authorised dealers if you want the real thing.
www.uggaustralia.co.uk/uk-online-retailers/authorized-online-retailers,en_GB,pg.html

If they aren't listed they are 99.9% certain to be fakes. Not that all fakes are bad..some are extremely good and almost impossible to tell from the real things.. but some fakes are made with very cruel practices and if you are shelling out a lot of money you might as well pay for genuine ones!

Sorry to hear you've been scammed - did you pay via credit or debit card? If so, I would contact your bank - they may be able to help. If purchase was over £100 and made by credit card, you should (I think) be able to get the money back as the cc company are jointly liable for any purchases you make (as far as I know).

Also...agree with Medusa, not having a go but I would rather go barefoot in the middle of winter than wear fake uggs, most of them are made with the fur of racoon dogs which have the most horrific life and death (skinned alive etc) Xmas Sad.

If you want sheepskin boots cheaper, Celtic Sheepkins are lovely and made in UK I believe?

Customs burn 000s of pairs of fake uggs every year, often sourced from China. The moral is that if a deal looks good to be true then it probalby is.

Hi it was by debit card £82. I have had a tracking email but when I put it in it says not found. Have also heard how the fake ones are made, it's so cruel, I wouldn't want to wear them either Sad
I'm just really pissed off with myself that I didn't check more thoroughly. Won't be making that mistake again. If nothing turns up over the next week, I will contact my bank again and see what they can do about getting my money back. Thanks for all your replies Xmas Smile

Was the tracking on the ups website? Ours never worked but them they sent another saying on way to hong kong and then UPS brought them a few mins later! Bank should be able to help.

No it's speedpost.com, I'll try again in a day or two as they did say it would be after Xmas anyway
