Only another highlighting question...

To cut a long story short...I went from all over bleached blonde to my natural medium brown with blonde highlights. I was v happy with this and left it for the about 7 months because my roots seemed to blend in well. Anyway as Christmas approaching I thought best to get on the highlighting band again and have half head done with blonde highlights. My stylist had left so had a new stylist, I explained I didn't want it too blonde because of rootage but it needed to blend in with the bottom half of my head which is medium shade blonde.

Well £80 and two and half hours later it didn't look much different, the top half was lighter but there is a definite band around my head between old colour and new. The stylist gave me four different colours including lowlights to warm up my hair but it looks a bit gingery to me. It has been a week now and I am not happy with it...not sure if I am being over critical. Not sure just to suck it up or have the unpleasant experience of going back to the super cool hairdresser and explain that I'm not happy....and then what, would she have to do it all again another couple of hours wasted. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
