Can you point me in the right direction? I love her style. I am in need of black maxi dresses and cropped cardigans? Thanks!

I think she wears a lot of Vivienne Westwood dresses but they tend not to be maxi, unless the full Gold or Red party gown collection. For cropped cashmere cardigans, I guess Brora might be the way forward?

Thanks REMUS.Yes the Brora cardigans are lovely but too expensive. I want to channel her casual look as I am a Winter too and suit this sort of simple, uncluttered style. I am having great difficulty tracking down tube shaped heavy jersey maxi dresses that don't have a poofy empire line. I don't look great in trousers.
Where else apart from Boden sells cropped cardigans? I have had Boden in the past but it hasn't worn well.
Any pointers would be great.

You'll need great shapewear to put underneath jersey if you want Nigella curves and not unsightly lumps (no matter how skinny you are). Pure cashmere is cheaper than Brora so you could look into that - cashmere is an arse to look after though no matter the quality. I think Nigella looks amazing when she rocks a denim jacket - that could replace any cardie.

DAME -always wear good underwear of the pull you in variety!
MUMZY-I have looked on John Lewis site and alas there are no cropped cashmere cardigans.

I have had a look at Pure Collection and whilst I like the style the colours are a bit meh. I look dreadful in mustard or beige and the others aren't true winter colours....

What I would like is cropped cashmere in Emerald Green, Blue toned red and raspberry one. Possibly a cobalt blue.

Re the dresses I am looking for a black maxi that can have an empire line but one without any pleats under it. I want a thick jersey that hangs well that doesn't go sheer. A tube shape is a great alternative. Some of those tank/ t-shirt ones that were around last year were made from very thin material that is virtually see- through. This is not a good look on a size 16. I want skim not cling but not voluminous either. I prefer either thin straps or a vest type thicker one. No sleeves required. Lengthwise 54 inches is perfect.
I am not having much joy but appreciate all your efforts. I recognise the list of requirements is somewhat exacting but if anyone can.........
