I need your help, I want to look lovely for my dad at his funeral but I just don't know what dress to wear - all I know is that it can't be black.

I'm 5.7 size 14 average boobs, mum tum, nice legs.

I wore a red dress to my dad's funeral in April. I figured that the daughter of the deceased has the right to dress however she wants to.

So sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear about this sad occasion.
I'd probably go for a wrap dress in autumn colours I've had a quick look at Boden but nothing jumps out. How about Hobbs or their off shoot collection? Also Coast?

So sorry about your loss.

This purple Pearle Lowe dress at Peacocks is lovely - but maybe with a cami underneath for a funeral. I'm usually a 14, but the 12 fits brilliantly. I am normally a fan of Hobbs/ Jigsaw dresses, but was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and cut considering the price, and it is is super-flattering on.

I'm so sorry about your dad xxx

If you want sober colours but not black, navy blue is lovely. What is your budget?

I'm so sorry about your dad. The LK Bennett Davina dress comes in various colours and is lovely, if it is in budget.

Budget not a problem anything upto say 250.00

Like the style of the Monsoon but it looks itchy Phase Eight lovely style but a tad too bright

Style wise I like a shift dress type style but not empire line as they make me look pregnant and could do without people asking when i'm due on the day!

I'd say a classic dressed really - I'm 36 if that helps at all?

Jigsaw on nice - and like the look of Divina but thing I'm too fat for it and the lenght looks below the knee which isn't a good look on me as makes me my calfs look like I should play in the rugby world cup

East

Mint Velvet

The other thing to think about is a coat. At a funeral you are mainly wearing one, I found.

Oh yes coat - I have a navy whistles coat or navy mac so hopefully that will be OK, or could pop cashmere cardie over the top?

how about this - Navy Dress

I think you'd have to try it on. It could be lovely or a bit sackish.
