i can't decide if i like them or not, and they are tight in the calf so i can't wear my jeans tucked in to them.

They are inoffensive I suppose. I wouldn't look twice at them though (sorry) precisely because they are slightly dull and don't have anything that marks them out as a bit special.

Tight in the calf sounds uncomfortable.

If you can't decide if you like them, that's a very good reason to return them.

No, send them back, they are not particularly nice, to be honest.

Top half is quite nice but the shoe bit lets it down. The toes looks like it's been taken from a blokes shoe. There are similar but nicer boots out there. Have you looked in Next or M&S, they are slightly generous in the calf.

No, the toe isn't nice. Clarks have some other very nice black knee high boots.

If I were you I would give them back, they didn't like very stylish and if you can't wear your jeans tucked in to them then its definitely no.no.no.
