So.... thanks to suggestions on here: I have chucked out my Dermalogica cleanser and started using the OCM; I've booked in to have my style and colours 'done'; my Babyliss Big Hair has just arrived; I'm about to start facial exercises; I have bought and remembered to use only twice some Frownies; I've just bought some mineral foundation; I've bought some Levi Curve ID jeans.

Next up:

I'm thinking about trying either Caci or Guinot non-surgical face lifts - anyone tried either and rate them? I already have Crystal Clear microdermabrasion monthly and thought Caci might go well with it.

Any other suggestions (not surgery, fillers or botox) to smooth my transition into my 40s please?

That was sarcastic anyway....I hate it too! Apparently a Breton top is a must on here. That too is a mystery to me

I love a bit of Boden but the autumn stuff is fucking dire.

Uniqlo great for basics / plain separates, yes.

Say no to Chanel Vitalumiere foundation and opt for Boots No.7 Lift and Luminate foundation if you have dry or combination skin. Half the price and exactly the same texture, coverage, even smell. Got that tip from MN and am very grateful for it.

Wolford tights for winter - wash and wash and last months. Worth every penny.

Flexitol nightly for soft feet. Makes salon pedicures last longer, too.

Neals Yard rose facial oil. Lush and works a treat with oil cleansing method.

I appear to have unintentionally started an anti-boden support thread here Grin

cheers for those tanya exactly the kind of thing i'm looking for. i'll def get some wolford tights as i love wearing dresses to work (going back next week - eek!) and never seem to have any unholed tights.

anything rose-smelling is wonderful in my book. do you use the ocm too?
