My "miracle" product appears to have been discontinued....curly haired folks can you help?..

My hair is very thick, long and curly. For years I used VO5 "straight hair" (which was great for curls too) then when it disappeared VO5 "get it straight" balm which I presume was the replacement. Now that's gone too. (It was much like a cross between a gel and a serum). I cant find ANYTHING else that seems to work on my frizzy mess, all gels seem to be firm hold (even if they aren't supposed to be), they make it feel crispy and look like a badly scrunched 90's perm!

Any ideas on a great product, as it's costing me a fortune trying things out!

I use VO5 "so smooth smoothing creme" and find it brilliant, if that helps?

Boots pink curl cream is the best thing I've used, well that and Argan oil! The curl cream is about £3 and lasts for ages, Argan I get online and that's about £10 for 100ml but lasts along time too... Hth...

L'oreal do one similar to your VO5, by the sounds of it, it's called Hot Straight, comes in a cerise pink bottle and works pretty well. My hair isn't curly though, just wavy.
Also try the John Frieda 3 day straight - it's pretty great. Both are for using with your hairdryer and straighteners.

umberto giannini curl gel stuff. Yes it is crispy when it first dries, but tip your head upside down, twist your hair in one piece as tight as you can and release, et viola! soft curls Grin - or just scrunch in your hands.....

mine is really frizzy and this works a treat.
