Bought Levi's Curve jeans; don't fit; need to order another type - can you help?

Hello!

I've just received a pair of Levi's Demi Curve jeans, tried them on, and I'm so disappointed. They fit perfectly round the thighs, but they are leaving a small gap at the back of the waistband, and are slightly loose over the front of my hips (you know - a bit roomy on the upper thigh area), so that when I walk around they start slipping down. FFS!

So, for all of those with Curve know-how ... Does that mean I need a Slight Curve, or a Bold Curve? I'm thinking the latter ...

Can you help advise?

Thank you!

I don't know for certain but I am sure I remember reading that bold curve ones are for when you have a gap at the back so I think its those ?

Thanks, much appreciated sparkle1977 - yes, that's the direction I'm tending towards. Pity! Was hoping against hope they'd feel like a second skin. I'll give the Bold a bash.

I would go into the shop and try them on. When I went different styles and even different colours in the same style fitted differently. I needed 32" leg in some and 34" in others. I must have tried about 12 different pairs on in the end!

Thanks, dexter73 - I might just do that when I'm next in the vicinity of a denim shop.

I'm not sure if this helps, but in Canary Wharf the levi people are measuring people for jeans. Maybe they do this in a branch near you??

Thanks, MrsSnow - I'm going to try my nearest store, which is actually far closer than I thought it would be ....

I tried a number of different pairs of Levis on and was really disappointed in John Lewis because of their lack of sizes on that day. Obviously, the place to go is to a Levis shop, however, I ended up buying a couple of pairs from Asda of all places. The 'straight leg' ones fit and are skinny enough for me, but best of all they are only £12, so once the elastane or whatever it is has gone, you can just buy a new pair!

Always go instore to buy a pair of Levi's. They really should be tried on first. I say this after working for them.

Personally I find it impossible to buy Levi's as I have hips so wonder if this new range will actually cater.

I have hips too, (and a big bum!) and they fit really well. I was quite amazed! No gap at the waist and flattering on the hips.
