Oil cleansing not working?

I've been doing the oil cleansing method for 6 weeks now and can't really see an improvement. Has anyone done OCM and waited a long time to see results? I really don't want to go back to using harsh chemicals but OCM seems to be making my skin worse :-(

I did it one night i had bright red skin the next morning so started using liz earle cleanse and polish and my skins so much better

I couldn't get on with it either. Gave me really dry skin. Went back to washing with water and a facecloth and using Olay beauty fluid in the mornings and added Olay night cream before bed, problem solved.
