Can you go about in the summer wearing a colourful sports bra under a contrasting vest or would this look odd?

I think I have possibly been Shredding too much and starting to think Jillian is my style icon or something. Hmm

I didn't have time to change properly after exercising yesterday, and ended up wearing my sports bra and exercise vest with my jeans for quite a lot of the day. Apart from feeling a lot more comfortable I thought it actually looked quite nice.

Am I being stupid? Blush

(PS I did NOT show off my stomach)

Hmm I have mixed feelings about this, I think as long as you can't actually see the bra cups it's just the straps, and the straps are plain not lacy, frilly crap and the bra isn't red then it's okish.

Go for it. As long as it is colourful and not greying-white or 'flesh-coloured'.

I think the look is ok but you should defo wash AND change after exercise. Grin

Oh it would be clean Grin

I had to rush out to pick up DC from pre-school and didn't have time to get changed, although I changed my bottom half as I have a varicose vein that could make a grown man cry. But when I got home I didn't want to change my top half because I thought I looked nice. I did eventually, and had a nice bath.

This is what got me wondering about whether you could wear this as "normal" clothes, not just sweaty exercise clothes or whether it would look odd and/or an affectation.

i see quite a few mums in exercise gear at the school gates, i do wonder how many actually do go and exercise after the school run.....i've just bought myself some nike exercise bottoms (not joggers) and have been wearing them quite a bit - i don't exercise but have been thinking more and more about ordering this shred dvd.

In answer to your question i think the top looks fine, but if anyone asked i'd say i'm off for a workout.

I am worried I have just got myself a crush on Jillian. In a she's-the-head-girl-and-I'm-in-the-Upper-Fourth sort of way, of course. Blush
