help - haven't been to a wedding for four years!

Good friend is having her wedding on a Friday afternoon/evening in June. Will probably be quite casual, but in a lovely posh country house setting. Lots of kids there, trendy relaxed invites, no dress code, very 'anything goes'. Haven't a clue what to wear. Bride will be in long cream plain silk. Thinking mini-Boden for dcs, dh will just wear suit with no tie...but what about me? Makes me tired thinking about it!

Am 40, 5'7, size 10, extremely flat chested, legs ok but top half of (eg) Boden/Joules/Monsoon summer dresses always way too droopy on me because of boob situation. Probably spending around £100ish. Anyone got any ideas?!

I'm no expert but perhaps you should think about the type of dresses Kate Middleton wears - sort of like the engagement one? anything with a rouched or gathered bit at the front does wonders for us flat chested girls. this sort of thing - but sold out in a 10 I would have thought Phase Eight or Jigsaw would be happy hunting grounds.

What about something like this?

Or this?

Or this?

Or here?

What's your budget?

Thanks both! Not sure I can carry off the orange ( blue eyes, light brown/slightly going grey hair) but the shapes are good. Budget around £100ish so these are about right.

That orange dress comes in white too- but perhaps not for a wedding...

Bold print

Biba

Embroidered

Four times your budget but so lovely

Blimey that last one is gorgeous. D'ya think one wedding and a holy communiion would warrant the expense...
