Things I need help on please

Hello - the sun is shining and it's gorgeous out there. I know it's going to get colder but there are some things I now need to think of buying:

  1. a spring coat, perhaps a single breasted trench - over the knee at the very longest - I fancy red or some sort of cute pattern but not Bodeny

  2. lightweight jackets - short sleeved / or waistcoats for work but don't need to be totally stuffy suit-style

  3. some tan ballet flats, maybe with a pretty cut out detail or something

  4. a neutral eyeshadow to use as a base under grey or bronze

    Thank you. :)

I got a mac eyeshadow - blanc type - recently. Very happy with it. I love light eye shadows but it would be good under other colours too, I think.

Will go to Mac tomorrow. Is it called Blanc? I mostly wear Mac Shale but it needs something under it really - don't want anything shiney.

Have a coat that blue colour already - dp hates it, hence thinking I might like a new one! Don't like that cream one or the pink one, sorry - the colours are too light for me. Thanks though!

I like the corsage ones - thanks. :) Will try on - would be even better without the corsage bit though! I do like the cute little wooden 'heel.'

Bobbi Brown Bone is a highly recommended base used by lots of pros.

I have these from last year, they are lovely in RL and very comfy.

They are perfect, Exhausted Nurse - thank you.

Tethers - oh gosh yes, sorry about the jacket rant from last year! I think I ended up convinced that sequins and straight-jackets were the way forward.

love that MaxMara one - damn you! Absolutely can't spend anywhere near that much though.

The bolero thing looks a possibility.

It's called Blanc Type which is certainly unusual

It's matte

Cheers - will have a gander.

Haven't gone to town today as I have The Period Pain From Hell and have been up half the night. Hopefully will manage to get there tomorrow.

Am still wanting a coat and more jackets please. :)

Shameless bump...

I have now bought a Spring coat - just a bog standard cropped trench thing.

I also bought a dress and now really need a navy or grey, casual-ish jacket to go with it. Navy sailor-type could work, or just a navy or grey jersey one maybe - but grey jersey ones can often look rather 'non-sporting type in sportswear' if you get my drift! Any ideas please?

Well there's something I didn't think I'd ever see! Both of those are possibilities - thankyou. :)

What do you think of the NW3 twill blazer here?

Please don't tell anyone.

I LOVE that Hobbs one. I really like NW3 stuff. Still have my eye on their high blue brogues...

Nice dress.

Shorter jacket better, I think. The Hobbs one, in fact.

That's cute, Collision. I've got a coat now though.

Might order that Hobbs jacket then - the length should be okay on me.

Thanks, WasWondering. I think the LA one would be too long for me though, as I'm a short-arse.
