Build up self tan for the whitest of white legs, what is a good product?

Hello,

Wondering if anyone wise out there has a solution for me for a gradual tan product for my legs? I don't want to go from white to tan, I just want to take the edge of the winter white....

I was going to try the st tropez gradual tan for light to medium, but thought i'd ask first!

Thanks!

Have come to mark my place, because I am fed up of the whitey-orange look.

Johnsons 'holiday skin', or Dove, or any of the gradual tanners.

St Tropez nice, but the others get the same result for about 1/3 of the £ IMO.

I am a fan of St Tropez Everyday Gradual tanner. Works much better for me than Johnsons or Dove. I don't ever get streaks or orangey bits just a nice even colour.

Vita Liberata is nice, they do one that is a gradual tanner, like the Dove and Johnsons stuff only better. Think it's about £8. Try and get one of the mits from Boots too they are great for applying.

I start with the Piz Buin mousse, then maintain it with Holiday Skin. I've found this is foolproof - I am the veteran of many a streaky tan disaster. Whatever you do stay away from those wipe-things - my husband has never laughed so much (although I did apply it in a tent so probably my own fault...)

Which ever you use please remember to wash your hands after. Sounds obvious but make sure you get right between your fingers and scrub!

Otherwise you'll have brown in between finger splodges - I speak from experience!

Which whitening toothpaste will help to shift, if you do go wrong! (god I hate the finger splodges)...

That's the beauty of the spray on ones - no need to get it one your hands and it is easy to build it up in gradual layers without having loads of wastage.

I think St Tropez is far superior to others and worth the extra ££

I've never understood how this can be done?

How is it possible to gradually build up a fake tan if you shower every day?

It does work - honest, as long as you don't exfoliate every day!
