Can i have a fringe? if so - how?

Ok, so numerous hairdressers have told me that because of a calf/cow's lick in the front of my hair i can't have a fringe. However, the forehead wrinkles are getting too much and something's got to give...can anyone advise me please? i think they are so flattering.

I have nork-length blonde hair (ok, it's natural blonde so a bit mousey but natural blonde highlights help it a bit.)At the moment it is layered throughout and shorter around the front/choppy layers. i really appreciate any help.

Could you have a longer fringe that sweeps sideways? Maybe the extra weight of hair plus enough product and blowdrying would sort it out...

Side swept, with the full sweep direction being dictated by the cowlick.

I've got a cowlick at the front and a side swept fringe, I wouldn't be without it, I'd feel Morticia Addams without it...

I mean the full bit of the sweep going in the direction the cowlick wants it to.

Side swept are often more flattering anyway I find for many people...

thank you! perfect. i just need to know what to say IYKWIM when i go in. always end up getting steam-rollered by hairdressers. DS was kissing "those lines" as he put it yesterday so something has to happen!

I have a bit of a cowlick and a heavy fringe and find straighters do the job (til it rains!)

i have a cowlick, you can just blow dry it straight usually, insist on one! just get it cut slightly on the longer side and maybe layer it a bit

Oooh, I really want a fringe and have a cowlick too. I posted a few days back on here about it but most people advised against it. Please let me know how you get on! When are you having it done?

I have a cowlick and a fringe and it drives me crazy, it takes serious time and effort to keep it straight. But it does hide the lines. I have considered Botox so that I could ditch the fringe.
