Is this dress too mature?

Turning 30 this year. And to be honest i have lost the plot when it has come to clothes.

So what do you think of this

It is very classic. I feel at 30 you should be getting away with something with a younger feel to it.

I know what you mean about clothes, and I think it is difficult to know what to wear once you get past about 25.

Honestly ? Its a lovely dress but I would think it would be more suited to someone late 30's + than just turning 30.

Where are you going? I'm nearly 30 and I'd wear that out to somewhere v formal. If you want a semi-formal-ish classic, I'd go for a DvF wrap dress.

I know 30 isn't old but i feel old. I have a 16 month old who still doesn't sleep through so i am knackered and as for my body ... it is so different to pre pregnancy! I have 36 d (from 34b) bust, waist 31" (from 26) and hips 41" (from 37) - any ideas? I am 5 6 as well if it helps!

It's nice, but looks a bit like a work dress. OK for going out to dinner or somewhere formal.

I feel your pain, though. I can never get it right when it comes to "going out" clothes.

MrsPear - Good Underwear (get measured and invest in a couple of good bras) is your friend when you have mummy boobs.

You're only turning 30 - yes, you feel tired and old now - but you want to look as young and fabulous as you can for your big night.

thing is, for a pub do, i have always felt over-dressed in a 'naice dres' based outfit. I like being overdressed, but the right thing for the occasion is more likely to be - nice fitting jeans and a party top.

I have just turned 30 and had the same problem. I wanted an Anglomania dress but got one from Asos in the end as I was skint.

It's hard to tread the line between grown-up and middle-aged, isn't it?

I can't show my arms, so I tend to buy "older" frocks.
