V Wide feet, and FitFlops Leather shorty boots

Ok, so I bought a pair of these in my size, and found that my pinky toes were being slightly squashed.

Then I note I should have bought the size up. I've done that, but a bit unsure if they will 'stretch' with wear, just need a tiny bit over the area between big toe and pinky toe. I really want them to fit me, I think they will after a wee wear-in period.
anyone had the same issue?
