Right, the Fly ones have the right heel/platform ratio, but are unfortunately a bit fucking hideous.

If I could have that shape in black suede without the tractor tyres on the bottom, then we'd be in business.

Oh dear. Sorry, I don't like any of those... I want at least a 1" platform.

I found these which are good, but they don't have my size (8).

Maybe I should just get the new look ones... do you think they'd be really uncomfortable?

Thinking of wearing them for work, so don't want to feel like I'm tottering about, but also don't want to look like a twat.

I like the New Look ones, and they are silly cheap. In fact I may get some myself.

Definitely not too high, unless (as DH pointed out) you work somewhere with very low ceilings.
