Kickers for toddlers width

I am wondering about ordering these on line, can anyone advise re width? Also, how does the sizing work out?

According to one Clarks shop on Saturay, DS has one foot 8F and another 7.5G. The continental sizing would make 7.5-8 a 25 but possibly with not much room for growth so I am wondering whether a 26 would be better (I note that some conversion tables give a 26 as an 8 in any case.)

In addition, do you think Kickers are as good quality as Clarks?

Kickers are much better quality than Clarks, ime. My DCs always had a pair through the winter from around the age of 2 upwards.

Can't remember exact issue re:sizing though have vague recollection that they come up big. If you call an independent retailer that stocks them, they should be able to advise (try John Lewis - they are always helpful :) )

John Lewis, not helpful, I tried them. You can't get through to the shoe department, I just got some poor person who has to deal with all comers telling me they don't do kids' Kickers any more.

I would say the opposite, kickers come up small and quite narrow.

I think that the quality is better than clarks shoes, although both my ds's found them a bit hard never really wanted to wear them.

I wouldn't buy them again.

Oh and browsing on line, it looks as though they used to be very small in their sizing but have now corrected this. In past mumsnet threads, some mums say they are wide and some that they re narrow...

However, many thanks for your replies!

I have been looking online for actual measurements (seen possible online bargains) but no joy yet.

hi there, i work in a small independant shoe shop and we stock/sell kickers, they used to come up very small and u always had to go up a size, however, as u say, they have rectified this, they are wide, dont suit children with very narrow feet ("e" fit or below) if ur child is a 7.5 i would say definately go for an 8 or continental size 26.
hope that helps
