yes, i am so ungirly that, upon finding a dress i liked i got it in two colours! Grin

i'm a size 16, short, short hair, hate wearing heels ( i can tolerate medium heels but not thin ones, more like a wedge?) so how would i dress up the dresses? (i don't like too many fussy accessories either!) was thinking some grey (pale? / dove grey?) or teal tights?

arrghhh!! fashion wise i feel like roy cropper! and budget is a bit limited (esp after buying these!)

I like how its styled in the pic tbh. With Black tights and shoe boots.

Alterntaively you could wear with leggings or 100 denier footless tights/leggings and wear with shoes like these if you don't do heels:

wedges in grey or black

I agree re wedges in above message.

Add a belt to clench in the wast black if your wearing black tights and shoes.

Add a flower broach if you want to dress up a bit more and a little black delicate cardie.

If you want to wear some jewellery then stick with black beads or silver effect. Chunky would be better than delicate.

Or try a chiffon scarf

Just a few ideas, big hair would also work with this and knee high boots to could work to dress it down.

Hope it helps x

Just read your OP again. Tbh, teal coloured tights would prob hurt my eyes with that colour dress but if you want to do coloured tights go for dark grey (not liking the sound of pale grey and they might make your legs look a bit wishy washy)

Don't think I could carry it off and its not really my sytle iykwim but what about lace tights like these:

lace

shred though can't decide if they would make you look like you'd been dragged through a hedge.

Or these for a bit of sauciness when you sit down. Thinking of getting a pair of these myself actually!

mock stocking

This would go with both the purple and the green

necklace

or

this love this but you wouldn't want any other jewellry with it though
