!950' glamour

I am dressing up as Janyne Mansfield and need a dress, have had a look on ebay and can't see anything, we don't really have decent charity shops here so have exhausted that avenue.

Have already got wig, and a fur stole just need the dress.

That's have the reason I have so many.... you had to be tiny to be in the 50s I think!

My measurements are

33inch waist
Bust at fullest point 41inches
hips 41 inches

so relatively small waist, big hips and boobs!

I looked at that one, i am playing Jayne Masfield in a short film and she needs to be in glamour mode. We start filming on monday and their has been a slight wardrobe malfunction!

Was very chuffed as I was in competition with another lady for the part who I think has a perfect size ten figure but she was told she lacked the assets and va va voom needed for the part!!

I really like that one colditz, I am a bit of a 50s girl at heart. Did Jayne Mansfield do chic though? I have been doing some research on her and she is one to make the most of what gd agve her.

i also wouldn't get that dress in time.

this could maybe work as I ahve an original 1950 fur stole, could add a bit of bling, high heels etc.

Not as dramatic as I had hoped - but possibilities.

ok, will get DH to take and upload photos tomorrow and will let you know the measurements. Am happy to post them out to you so that you can try them on etc...

Can't check now as DT2 is awake and he's in the same room as the dresses!
