I have masses of weight to lose and I'm starting a lifestyle change (exercise/healthy eating) so I don't really want to buy anything fitted that I will have to charity shop in a few months.

I feel so dull and so lacking in style, I'd love a grey/black cashmere LV scarf but my budget says no Grin

I'm also after some chunky boots with a slight heel that are lace up but don'y know where to start!

I'd really be very grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction. I've tried lots of websites for the boots but have yet to find what I'm after.

Oh dear I am even boring myself now

I think it is a mistake to avoid anythng fitted now. You should buy what suits and flatters you NOW and worry about the clothes you will need when you have lost weight, when you have lost the weight.

You think?

Hmmmm back to the drawing board for me then. I was thinking maybe a wool dress that I could use a belt on after and some lovely accessories.

Bum.

I think you have a point.

Bum Grin

Thank you.

Yeah I do think, sorryGrin I hate the way that women put off looking after themselves properly all the time, to some mythical time in the future when they will deserve it.

I have clothes but the daft mistake was to live in leggings/jersery for the last 6 months big mistake and I've been introduced to Hush now gaaaaah big mistake II Grin as I haven't noticed the expansion of weight!

I agree with TPL about looking after yourself now but your idea about a knitted dress is a good one - they work quite fitted and quite loose, so versatile. Gap had a gorgeous charcoal cashmere sweater dress before Christmas that would look v nice with a wide belt or just worn loose, and I think it might work with skinny jeans too. Avoid anything too shapeless though - you want it at least partly fitted or it won't flatter you now AND will look too baggy if you lose weight.
