complementary therapy research

Hi Everyone
I'm doing research on CT. How likely are people to use complementary therapies after the credit crunch? do they have spare money to spare on luxuries? if they are holidaying less then are they treating themselves more?
what do you think? any opinions and help needed. many thanks
