white stuff dresses - my arse!

Is it just me or does white stuff sell 'dresses' that don't even skim my arse! I am 5'9" so not short but even friends that are shorter say they don't cover them! Love some of them but they should be in the tunics section surely? Also peed off as nothing in my size left in the sale!

It's a joke.
None of their dresses are dresses- well, a few are - but most are tunics.

I hate the way they divide up the stock into tunics, kaftans and dresses and sometimes you see the same garment in all 3 sections of the web!
I am only 5 3" and I couldn't wear any of the "Dresses" as such excpet the really long jersey type that come below the knee.

V disappointed with the sale- had my eye on about 4 bits of knitwear and none is in the sale!

hi, yes, i agree - i tried on a White Stuff "dress" yesterday - a pretty dark green/blue jersey dress which looked lovely on the hanger but it was significantly too short for a grown up. i'm 5ft 4 in so not exactly tiny.

I think all their dresses are supposed to be worn with leggings. In facrt, three quarters of their stock is mean to t be worn with leggins and big boots.

It's tiresome

Have to confess I like the WS look!

Panettoinydog - what do you wear that is not leggings/skinny jeans/boots type thing? Genuine q - am dreading the time when this look is totoally out of fashion for casual wear!! So comfy

I would buy this stuff except for the fact that it is ALL empire line. Which makes me look like Quasimodo.

WS is the thin end of the 'dress' wedge. Bloody Dorothy Perkins are as bad... keep sending me tempting emails full of dresses that barely cover my knickers. Twats. Angry

I never wear leggins, skinny jeans, tunics nor big boots. I'm not paritcularly on-trend, I just know what I like Grin. The current white stuff look is too 80s Student for me but I have liked a lot of their stuf in the past. A-line skirts suit me Wink

I wear jeans, bootleg suit me far better. Although I have a pair of dark grey, velvety straight legs which I like just now. High heels (shoe, shoe boot or boot) or slip on trainer type thign or walking shoes. I'm more into tops and knitwear.

I like wearing leggings with long tops but also like wearing chunky knit tights with dresses, not the the kind that show your gusset!

I do get very annoyed by this. 'Dresses' are too short and lots of leggings are too thin so you end up with what should be a lovely outfit looking very cheap and a bit sleazy.

I'm sure it's all to do with keeping costs down. When I wore leggings last time round I'm sure they weren't see through!

I have two dresses from White Stuff and they are knee length or just above the knee. I am 5'7. They were bought on or before last Christmas - has this change to too-short come in recently?

I'm 5ft 10 and have long legs, and a lot of WS dresses are not dresses - the odd one is long enough.
