I've been buying Gap trews for about 10 years, just cannot go wrong with them as a staple part of your wardrobe IMO.

However I tried something similar to this on the other day and the material seemed a bit thinner than normal and therefore not as good a fit, so i did put them back on the rail (like I needed another pair of trousers anyway!) but don't let that out you off, I would definitely try them on.
