it depends

what will you wear them with? jeans, skirts, dresses?

are you SAHM or do you need to be smart or on trend for work?

do you walk a lot or use the car?

they need to go with EVERYTHING! im a sahm and we walk ALOT. but i want them to be smart enough to 'go out' in if i dont feel like heels (looking also for some heeled winter boots) im 5 2" slim if that helps and for the most part i wear skinny jeans

I'm after a pair like that.

Am also a sahm who walks a lot, lives in jeans, but likes to wear skirts/dresses now and then.

I think they are perfect.

(and covet them)

I like them. I was actually looking at them last night, but I would prefer them in black as they would go with more in my wardrobe.

There are also some nice ones on the Clarks website at the moment and I have got a code for 10% off on line and free delivery if anyone is interested.

Scared to comment on here after previous talks but hey ho, am feeling a little braver today! I think they are fab! Great colour, not as harsh as black. Brown wears in beautfully and go with everything. Go for it before they sell out! x

Oooh, nice.
If you try them, can you let me know how big the calf comes (mine are a big big! Blush) and if they are as nice in real life as they look in the picture. I'm another boot hunter!

Er, I tried a pair of Dune shoes on and they fitted.

Grin Custy!

I don't think it really matters what colour your hair is, I think it matters more if the tan boots works with the other clothes you've got in your wardrobe. Will you be trying them on in store or ordering on line?

LOL at custy

IMO brown or tan much better than black with jeans

good heel for walking

not sure if they will be waterproof - does that matter?

I'd go for the 5 in a boot. If they don't fit you can send em back.

I quite like the RI ones, nicer brown colour than the previous Dune boots but can't really tell how high they are from the picture as the strap goes across the heel (which is a nice feature) and I like the knitted top too.
