I can't spend £45 on a pair of cashmere tights but I really want to.

What do you think of them? www.brora.co.uk/Product/Product.aspx?WebShopCodeStr=A0&WebSegmentCodeStr=S5&WebCategoryCodeStr=CR&StyleCodeStr=WK003.

Which colour would you go for if you were (hypothetically) buying them. I think burgundy.

I thought burgundy too, then put the catalogue into the recycling before I did something silly Grin!

Burgandy or Deisel. They do look lovely but I don't think I could bring myself to pay £45 or tights.

Good reviews though so if you love them go for it Grin

I am spending half my time trying to justify buying them (recent tax rebate) and half going "just don't be so stupid".

Plus I'd be bound to snag them on a rosebush on their first outing.

There's a 20% code that's valid until 9th October I think - I found it on here and used it yesterday - if you do a search? Might make them a little bit easier to justify!

Don;t do it. you will snag them on the first day. Go to primark they ahve patterned wooly tights a plenty, £3 a pop

The compromise is M&S autograph around £10 a pair - so much better than the £3 tights I usually get. I have binned all my £3 tights now as have been spoilt by the Autograph ones!

I had the M&S ones last year and highly recommend... I am off to buy more today for this winter. £45! I would hardly dare to leave the house in them!!!!!

I agree that last year's M&S cashmere and merino tights were fab and mine are definitely good to do more service this winter. I'll be buying more.

I love the M&S Autograph ones. Are they doing lots more lovely ones this year?

I've got black, grey and wine from last year, still in perfect condition - I wore them loads and they also helped to keep me warm when worn under my jeans in Prague at the end of December!

If you really like them, and can afford them, then buy them Grin. As an alternative (although I haven't even clicked the Brora link!), these from Falke look lovely.

Not good with links - I am a technological fuckwit. But they are on the M&S site - they are called Autograph Luxury Merino blend wool tights - 100 denier

Thanks ever so much for the Brora code.

Also many thanks for the M+S suggestion, I'll have a look at their tights too.
