Can anyone advise me on facials?

My dh has suggested to me a facial to cheer me up and make me feel good returning to work after maternity leave. I like the idea but I've never even been inside a beauty salon so I'm a bit clueless.

During pregnancy I had acne, and although the spots are long gone I still have redish-purple marks on my cheek which will take ages to heal. My skin has always been a little problematic, right now it's spot-free but old blackheads (mini in pores) and old spot marks. Not too dry, not too oily. No wrinkles. I'm 27.

IS there any miracle facial or treatment that will improve my skin and encourage the marks to fade/ clean pores?

I would recommend Dermalogica facial for a first timer. Enjoy....what a lovely DH you have!
