Had it done recently in a salon and LOVED the finished products. Surely it's available for home use and not just professional? Can anyone shed any light?

Am intrigued by this, is this the Jessica version of the CND Shellac?

this is the stuff

it paints on like a normal polish.

you need a little hand lamp thing to set it...

i just loved how thick and glossy it looked.. and could easily apply it myself if i had the stuff...

surely it'll be widely available before too long? [hopeful emoticon]

Yes, sounds exactly the same as Shellac by Creative.

Had it done last month. Thought the same as you. Brilliant. Don't know how long it will be before you can buy it for home use.

NellietheEllie - fab link. Do you have experience of this? Do you buy colours seperately? Where from? Or can you use any?

Hi. No experience of the kit i linked to i'm afraid. I've had Gel manicures done at a beauty place before and they are great. You definitely need a special nail varnish, but if you google 'gel nails' you'll find some where that sells them. Hth

You could do it at home. The CND shellac is easily avaliable on ebay, so buy a UV lamp and you can cure the polish for two minutes and soak off in the same way that you would normal uv gel nails.
