Veet while breastfeeding?

that's it really - does anyone know of you can use Veet (or similar) while breastfeeding, I can't find out. I want to take DD swimming every week and I had my bikini line waxed but it grows back so unevenly that it's really not worth it to get it waxed again until it's all grown back, by which time they'll be a fair amount of quite long hair going on (I'm very pale with thick dark hair - everywhere!), so I was wondering about Veet. Also been reading about epilators - I've no experience of these at all - they seem very expensive?

thanks!

Shaving?
No idea about Veet, but can't see any reason why not.

well not while breastfeeding - you need both hands to get in the awkward bits ime

but yes it's fine, though I have fine sparse hair and I suspect it may find thick hair more of a challenge

if it's only once a week could you shave that morning?

A cautionary tale

AFTER USING VEET CLEAN YOUR BATHROOM THOROUGHLY EVERYWHERE

Otherwise in the morning you will have smooth lady bits from doing it the night before when the kids are asleep.

You will of course have washed out the shower/bath for the next person to use it.

You will get up and get DS and the baby ready for school run, quick baths alround, mad dash to school through snow, ice etc.

On returning from school run you will removes dd's (then aged 7 weeks) hat, you will encounter a large white blob.

You will think wtf is that?? Is it gum???? You will touch it, it is not gum?? You will panic and sniff it. You will instantly recognise the smell, you will feel your chest constrict as your heart simultaneously drops out your bottom.

Next you will get a wet wipe and wipe it away tentativily: relief that the cream has not burned or damaged your precious daughter immediately gives way to a greater more more predominant fear

"How the fuckitiy fuck am I going to explain a 10 pence piece sized bald patch on top of the babies head to dh, dmum and dmil?!?!"

Blush Blush Blush Blush Blush Blush

To this day I have NO IDEA how that got on her head and where it got on her head in the bathroom despite scouring high and low.

thanks everyone for advice and cautionary tales Grin! DD's still so bald no-one would notice if any hair went missing.

shaving's a no-no, as the grow back would involve itching and hideous red lumps containing ingrowing hairs, even if I exfoliated every day.

Will give the Veet a go.

I used it throughout bfing too. My sister ended up in a&e with underarm burns with it few weeks back so it really is worth testing first. I use the 3 minute shower off Veet and always works.
