If you find them let me know!

DS1 is 4 and a bean pole and jeans hang off him too. Have found that gap tracksuit bottoms seem to fit him well so he lives in those instead of jeans...

My DD is like this. I started to buy more tunic/long style tops as I couldn't find any jeans that didn't do it.

Next used to do a kind of baggy pair with a elastic band style of waist and cotton on the inside that were good, didn't ride down. Not online now though so maybe they do them anymore.

thanks for the replies, i'll probably just have to put her in dresses more, as we just can't seem to find decent jeans.

i can't send her topreschool with her back hanging out
and i can't get long sleeved tops in a bigger size as she wont be able to see her hands

how about jeggings? They are elasticated and so more comfy for little ones. I got these for my 5 year old, who is long, they stay up!

thanks for the link, yes i tried them last year when she was only 2, i didn't think they looked great on her, but a year on i think the style would suit her more as shes not aS, er, chubby!
and would look alot better than her back hanging out!
i will try them again.

My DD is tall and skinny and the best jeans / trousers I've found are h&m which have adjustable waist and a pair of Boden velour elasticated waist ones which are a bit more pricey but she loves them and has worn them loads. Otherwise I go for dresses and leggings, again h&m is good, particularly for leggings in lots of colours.

Dresses and leggings, I concluded long ago jeans don't seem to work on little ones, skinny or chubby ones.

H&M jeans are good on my DD who is 5. They have adjustable waists. If not, if she is skinny, what about gap, they do lots of shapes of jeans for children, but they tend to be too skinny fit for my DD.

Dunno about their girls' stuff but H&M jeans are a good fit for my long-in-the-body, short-in-the-leg, skinny 3yo DS1 (the elasticated waist ones) -- their size 2-3 fits him perfectly (he's in 4-5 for tops!).

My dd was the same, she lived in tunic dresses over jeans or leggings at that age. She's nealy 7 now and has balanced out a bit.

Boden girls skinnies seem much higher cut than next/joules/pumpkin patch

I have bought her loads of jeans for a/w but she is going through a stage where she only wants to wear dresses.
