I may have the sides taken in slightly as it is quite A line, but I am so so so delighted with it..

Its a birthday present to me from DH. I must remember to tell him.

how does the sizing compare to a high street brand that i could compare to?

Sizing is v v small. I am a 14-16 and I had to order an 18 , shhhh. Basically go on their size chart and measure yourself and then see.

It's made from a vintage cutting block so the sizes come up small as we all used to come up smaller!

It is a totally adorable dress, I keep trying it on and swooshing around the house. DS said I needed to give it a rest!

Very nice! Have seen these before and they look lovely. I also quite like the look of some of the stuff from Trollied Dolly, which has a similar vintage feel - although not handmade in the same way . (Quite a lot cheaper though.)

Sloanypony it came up v short, so I asked them to make one 2" longer as i'm 5'9 and I just needed some extra length.

Well, I've now bought the long cap sleeve in the skulls and pink roses for a thing I have on Saturday night (it was in stock in my size). Hope it arrives on time - I might give them a buzz tomorrow and see if they can get it to me by then, apparently they despatch same/next day depending when you order so if sent tomorrow will be fine.

I phoned them and they posted next day. Don't get overexcited about the packaging for some bizarre (cost saving) reason they send them in a plastic bag which is a bit crap...lovely dress though!

Haha - doesn't bother me, they haven't actually charged me for postage and packing.

Though I did have, in my mind's eye, a fantasy of opening a big box tied with a ribbon and lifting the dress from layers and layers of acid free tissue paper...
