Chan1811 Thu 16-May-13 17:56:28

Hi, I'm doing the psychology degree with the OU.

Are you thinking about doing it?

MrsHuxtable Thu 16-May-13 22:46:45

I am too.

Chan1811 Fri 17-May-13 17:34:53

MrsHuxtable -where are you at in the degree?

TwasBrillig Fri 17-May-13 17:38:53

I completed mine 2 years ago! Its a fab degree. Good luck everyone.

MrsHuxtable Fri 17-May-13 20:26:53

Chan1811, I'm only coming to the end of my first year and planning to do it within 6. So there's still a long way to go. What about you?

LuckySalem Fri 17-May-13 21:28:43

I'm about 3 years into my psychology degree. really enjoying it.

Chan1811 Sun 19-May-13 12:21:52

I am currently doing DSE141, SDK125 and D171, so all my level ones. I am really enjoying it as well.

MrsHuxtable Sun 19-May-13 17:54:57

I'm also doing SDK125 and DSE141. In panic mode at the moment due to the looming exam and essay.

just finishing dse121. shall be doing ed209 and online project.

bettycoast Mon 20-May-13 10:41:11

2 years in, I've done 141, 101, 212, 222, and I'm just finishing TMA2 for SD226. This is definitely my least favourite module. I came on for a bit of procrastinating, because frankly I don't have 300 words in my head about axonal projections. sad

I will get it finished by tomorrow though. smile

TwuntingCrow Mon 20-May-13 10:54:53

I am too .. Done SK124 and SK120, Dd101, DSE 141, and almost done DSE212 - just exam left - 3 weeks away sad

I'm doing the research project and ED209 next too LuckySalem smile

Chan and MrsHuxtable - what's 125 like ?

RedRings Mon 20-May-13 11:05:59

Me too smile
Have done 'em all (well, DSE212, DX222 or whatever it was, ED209, DD307, DD307). I'm on currently on SD226 as my last course. And, like bettycoast I'm on here procrastinating, because I couldn't care less about axonal projections and chemotrophic factors...
Good luck to everyone ploughing through. I have found it a very interesting ride. It is not for the faint hearted, it can be pretty work-intensive at time, but fascinating too smile.

I'm loving 212 I think because its psychology rather than the social science module about shops on roads etc.

Chan1811 Tue 21-May-13 20:07:48

MrsHuxtable & Twuntingcrow - Good luck with your exams.

LuckySalem Wed 22-May-13 12:16:24

I'm dreading the exam. nothing sticking in my head at all.

Chan1811 Thu 23-May-13 16:24:41

I'm worried about the exam too and mine isn't until September. I just want to get through all the books quickly so I can revise for a long time.

LuckySalem - have you thought about setting up some flashcards?

LuckySalem Fri 24-May-13 07:39:25

there's a flashcard app you can download which I have, will be using it soon. just need to take more notes.

LuckySalem Sat 25-May-13 10:35:52

slowly getting there
