Do I need L & P is each box or just a range of L & P

Please?

Help?

lifeisafunnyoldgame Sun 13-Jan-13 14:19:54

?? I read EYP as early years proffessional.... Am I on the right track or not??

KatyMac Sun 13-Jan-13 14:21:39

Yes please

Its due in tomorrow & I am panicking big time

I think it's L&P in each box???

lifeisafunnyoldgame Sun 13-Jan-13 17:41:03

Not sure what L and P are.. What is the exact qualification you are doing, and what unit are you on? I will be staying around for the next hour or so.

I've done my CCLD, which has now changed over so may be able to help. Also try silkysteps.

insancerre Sun 13-Jan-13 17:51:34

do you mean in each box for each standard?
we have an example and it has P+L in 1.1 and 2.2 for all 4 tasks but not in all the other boxes for each standard

KatyMac Sun 13-Jan-13 17:55:09

Early Years Professional Status - it's level 7 (I think)

& it's not a unit it's recording the standards I've used

P is practise & L is leadership

Thanks for talking to me - I am panicking

lifeisafunnyoldgame Sun 13-Jan-13 18:38:29

Ahh right can't help you I'm afraid, when I did mine, not level 7 though, I used silkysteps forum. It helped a lot. I'm here if u wish to talk and I will nod helpfully, but get over there quick!!

KatyMac Sun 13-Jan-13 18:46:34

Thanks anyway - I like supportive nodding grin

That's it I think insancerre; I'm out of my depth

KatyMac Sun 13-Jan-13 20:14:06

I am so struggling with this

lifeisafunnyoldgame Sun 13-Jan-13 23:10:34

Did you try silkysteps? X

KatyMac Mon 14-Jan-13 17:21:22

It's finished - I handed it in

But it's crap

insancerre Mon 14-Jan-13 17:50:24

well done
mine is due in on friday

KatyMac Mon 14-Jan-13 17:52:37

Oh good luck - hope it goes better than mine

insancerre Mon 14-Jan-13 17:55:56

I am still writing my tasks and I still haven't finished my document file
I am supposed to be writing them now
I am sure you have done fine
It's just a met or not met
When is your setting visit- I am sure you will cover lots of standards then

HSMM Mon 14-Jan-13 18:06:23

Mine was due wed 16th, but I needed to get it out of the house, so I handed it in today.

KatyMac Mon 14-Jan-13 18:12:12

She has rejected it as I haven't met the standards on the written tasks

I thought I could do 2 of them at the setting sad

KatyMac Mon 14-Jan-13 18:12:53

& I haven't written a timetable because she sent me one

fraktion Mon 14-Jan-13 18:14:06

Has she given you any more advice? Can you resubmit?

KatyMac Mon 14-Jan-13 18:17:19

Well I have written & submitted my tasks they don't contain 6 or 22

I intended to show these through my document file and my practise

I'd have to rewrite my tasks & I'd be hard pressed to "add in" those bits tbh

insancerre Mon 14-Jan-13 18:21:12

are you working to the old standards or the new ones?

KatyMac Mon 14-Jan-13 18:24:31

Old (I think)

KatyMac Mon 14-Jan-13 18:44:20

May I just say aaaarrrgggghhhh?

insancerre Mon 14-Jan-13 18:48:24

what's the worst that can happen?
you get a not met
then you decide whether you do the course again or walk away
you have a fantastic setting, you don't need EYPS

my advice would be to email your assesor or programme leader and talk through your options
