I wondered how all us new starters from September were getting on now we have survivied our first term. I feel I have settled in and am finding on the whole it is a nice group. Have not had any major work back so not sure how I am doing course wise butr I feel I am on the right course and the degree should lead to an interesting job if I get there!!! Have two essays to do over christmas which is a pain but onthe whole I feel happy. How are you all doing?

Hello I was on your last thread I think.

First term was a bit hairy, with childcare logistics and illness, failed one exam but got two 2:1s in essays so something is obviously going in.

People on my course are ok but don't want to socialise with an old keeno like me... That's ok, I just treat it like a job.

Pleased it's going well for you too.

Well the people aren't massively friendly, and the assignments are cobbled together in a very odd way. The whole thing hasnt quite clicked yet, but it took a while the first time around too. The course has been restructured and we are only the second intake. Most of the time I feel like I am balancing on a knife edge, and it only takes one thing to go wrong before I'm struggling to catch up. But I enjoy the lectures and getting out of the house. Am also studying abroad and there are a LOT of culture differences.
