Quarterly freak out time.

Does anyone else suddenly look at the amount of work they have to do and think WTAF. I've just made a list on the train and felt the ice cold feeling of dread!

Shite.

Oh no I have The Anger. I walked, walked, up three flights of stairs only to find today's lessons cancelled.
I could be watching Jezza doing something productive at home.

That's really bloody annoying!

Re. your OP, Yes, still a scary amount of work to do... I made a list at the beginning of the year taking the coursework deadlines and test dates from the module guides... mainly so I can tick them off as they're handed in! grin

I've got 7 assignments and two tests between now and 2nd April and then the exams start at the end of April...

I too have The Anger because reading week (traditionally next week) is cancelled.... or rather it's now at the discretion of each lecturer... So for two days next week I either have to go in for one hour only (which takes four hours) or stay at home and miss them...

That's too bad about reading week. sad
Ours is next week, luckily the same as DC half term, so I don't have to juggle childcare. It's a pain having to go in for a bloody hour!

We've just been told we have to decide what area we are doing our dissertation on by the end of March too. Cue much panicking and people threatening to pack it in and run away. Good times.

Nooo! I'm lucky in that this phase has now passed (happened over Christmas/most of January for me) and I'm now in a more positive phase smile

I've realised that I get bugger all very little done if I try working at home when I'm not in lectures, so I've started keeping "office hours" on campus and working in the library when not in lectures! Of course this means my flat is now a disgusting mess, but I guess I'll get cought up next week (half term)...

I've also spent the past few evenings revising last year's work to try to fill in the gaps (stuff I can't remember) that have been holding me back this year!

And I started clinicals on Monday (I'm in med school), which although only one half-day a week this semester, is motivating me to work hard at the rest grin

Keep plugging away, ladies, you're all doing great brew

I had no idea there was a student parent board on Mumsnet. I'm very excited.
