Hello all. I am now in my second year having done pretty well in my 1st year exams (could have done significantly better, but still). I am already 2 assignments behind- I was quite unwell during the period they were due, and have submitted my mitigating circumstances form. However, I have been back to 100% for the last week or so, and am just prevaricating.

Some of this is due to the fact I am expecting DC1 in less than 2 months, but mostly I think I am self sabotaging, which is so frustrating. I love my subject, and I really want to do well in this, so that in another 2 years I can be thinking about a post grad course or a career change. So please. Massive kick up the arse. Also any lovely stories about how having your first child made no difference to your studies <naively hopeful>

<<kick>> grin
I had ds2 6 weeks before the end of one of my modules and had to sit the exam having expressed bottles for him and worrying about him, but I actually got my best exam mark ever!!! It was easier to study when he was tiny, it's much harder now he's 2 and has dropped his naps. I've nearly finished though, should finish in October smile
