I'm 6 months from the end of a degree (education related but quite specific and don't want to be outed) and have never posted in this section but feel like screaming...or sobbing!
I've suddenly lost motivation- got two 3600 assignments due in the next two weeks and I'm doubting everything I do. I've got about 1500 done but its nowhere near good enough yet.
The other thing I'm stressing over is whether or not I'm doing it 'right'. I get the assignment, make notes, do a plan then write the whole thing without checking it. I write it as I think so its full of errors and incorrect grammar but I then print it, read through, make changes on paper then copy changes onto laptop. I sometimes do this process two or three times and it doesn't seem the most efficient method, especially as others on the course scoff at me talking about first and second drafts. Of course, I could just be projecting my general angst into this issue! I'm desperately hoping for a 2:1 or even a 1st so the pressure is on!
Sorry its so long. Embarrassingly I pressed post before I'd finished and it was still really long...
Any advice/ suggestions/ push in the right direction would be much appreciated!

1st, 2nd drafts etc is what I and a great many others do - I think it's what you have to do to get a 'polished' piece of work. Let the others do what works for them and you do what has thus far worked for you! One of the great joys of word processing is that you can write as you're thinking then use cut & paste to refine the flow and order of a piece of writing.
Re. motivation, sometimes you don't have the luxury of waiting for motivation to turn up.... you just have to get on with what needs doing!
You've done the hardest part and obviously done really well so it's just a matter of getting stuck in now however you're really feeling. Go and have a scream and/or a sob then get working!
Thanks, think the motivation is starting to return as I managed to work on it all day today. Got a little bit more to do then will have the whole first draft done-will spend tomorrow finishing it then hopefully make a dent in the next one at the weekend.
Last time I was at uni I was in my teens, no do, no dc, no job and it was so easy and I spent the whole time socializing...sob
