I can't believe I've only just discovered this forum after being on MN for the last god knows how many years! I was looking for somewhere to post the other day, but the further education board seemed to be more for school leavers.
Anyway, I'm a mum of two, currently in my first year of a BN (Hons) in Mental Health. I've finished for a couple of weeks now, for Christmas, but I had a major wobble the other day and could have done with a huge shake!
Looking forward to chatting to others in the same boat

Hi, I'm in a similar boat; mum of two currently in my first year of a BSc (Hons) in Biology. Still struggling to juggle uni/home workload, underestimated the amount of work I'd have to do and ended up failing part of one of my modules so have also had a few wobbles!
Got exams coming up as soon as I go back mid Jan so currently trying to revise like mad!
I tend to be a bit more of a lurker than a poster but have also been around for a while
<waves back at Humpty Dumpty>
what are you studying?
Hi Kowalski, I love biology, it's definitely one of my favourite modules
can imagine it being hard going all the time though!
I also have exams coming up, drug calculations being one. I'm REALLY not looking forward to it!

Hello - I'm doing a full-time Phd, in a humanities subject. So easier than a BA/BSc in some ways, as I can pretty much schedule my own study. First day back at school for the kids and work for me today, and have yet to make a proper start (been enjoying being in the house on my own and tidying, putting washing on, as well as thinking about a freelance project I'm working on). But I have to set off to get them in four hours time so enough procrastination for one day!
