Aubergines v DSD

BuzzLightbulb · 13/06/2014 22:44

Bought two aubergines from lidl on Thursday, 39p each. Bargain.

Went to coach swimming, then popped into aldi for some stuff on the way home.

Have not been able to find the aubergines since. Had to make the thai curry without them.

Where the hell are they? I have the receipt and the other times that were probably in the same bag and I have them.

Honestly, a troublesome 16yr old is nothing compared to missing veg Wink

Hah, you have just about mirrored my most recent thread! Teenagers have no thought about anything other than themselves unfortunately - sob!

Still bugging me, more so than DSD who is supposed to be home at 11 and DP is out tonight.

So I'm left to decide what to do about DSD, think door locks at ten past but why should I when DP isn't even here? Because DSD was told it was ok to go to her dads if she kicked off?

Still more worried about my veg. Ooh err.

Have you checked in the car (for the aubergines!)? May have rolled out of bag.

Yup, tried the car, every kitchen cupboard, every empty bag for life.

Even the greenhouse even tho I know they wouldn't be there.

That's why they sell for 39p, cos you can never get them home!

Grin @ Even the greenhouse.

Did you think they might have gone to seek the company of other veg?!

if it helps on the case of the missing veg - i found dd's snacks in the washing basket the other day and a packet of fresh carrots in the freezer - i am blaming baby brain!

as for dsd - can you text her and say you have 10 mins to get home or i am locking up?

Too late for that, the fun bit is if I lock out DSD I also lock out DP.

Oops.
