I've also read the Lisa Doodson book. Acutally it didn't cover my 'type' of stepmum but it was still a worthwhile read. We went on to attend one of her workshops which was really, really helpful.
Hi there, when I found out that OH had a DS I borrowed How to be a Happy Stepmum by Lisa Dodson from the library as I had no clue! How to be a Happy StepmumFound it really useful and covered practically all combinations and stages of being a stepmum - also nice that it was UK relevant, for a change.
Thanks brdgrl, I have ordered it.
I really liked 'Stepcoupling' by Susan Wisdom. I think you'd get a lot from it too.
