Hi guys

Im posting this to try and get a few ideas ( nothing expensive please!) on what / where me and OH could do this sat/sat night while we havent got our kids. (in the uk)

Weve had a rough 3/4 weeks (or should i say i have!) and i just wana have some fun, a laugh, relax and enjoy each others company for a change... like we used to!

When this time usually comes around we always end up doing something crap like... ooo the garage needs emptying lets do a tip run!! or d.i.y or cant think of anything to do then its too late to go anywhere!

So quick! post me some ideas please Grin

Envy

Take away and wine in Bed.
Cinema
Dress up and go out for a nice meal out
lots and lots of Wine

No cleaning or just do the essential first (1 hour blitz)so you don't worry about it for the rest of the weekend.

Enjoy!

DH and I love doing a "restaurant crawl" like a pub crawl. You go in, sit at the bar (hopefully with a dreamy bartender to gaze at serve you lovely cocktails) and have something nice from the starters menu. Pay up, wander around until the next place that looks nice.

Of course you need to do this in an area with several places worthy of your custom.

Then once you are tipsy and frisky have had enough, home to bed with a bottle of something!

keep the television off. put some music on. spend money on some "posh" but easy dinner items (get some yummy nibbles and fizz). Put on your best gear and have a real "date" at home.
Start dinner early so that you have a bit more time later for ... grown up stuff!
also get some nice things for breakfast and go out and do something nice - go for a long walk together, or go to cinema or even go out for breakfast somewhere lovely if there's somewhere nice near you.
or what about seeing if there are any spa deals in hotels near you? spend the afternoon lounging around together, feeling pampered, then come home and do the dinner date thing.
whatever you do, enjoy!!

it is confirmed then - all step-mums are sex-mad, and I thought it was just me!

You go over to relationships and it's all "I've lost my sex drive"

over here it's whoop whoop the kids are not here, get your kit off quick!

Must be something to do with being wicked - Love it...

The routine here is:
OH goes to get the paper, come back to bed with tea and pancakes. Read the WHOLE paper in bed and then get reacquainted with each other. Wink
Go for a good 3 hour walk preferable with a pub lunch half way through.
Have a bath together (can insert naughtiness here). Open the wine, play scrabble (geeks english teachers) or just talk ? uninterrupted. Have a lush grown up dinner then watch a film.
Repeat.

Then a lovely long lay in the next morning Wink Wink

Stuff the washing up, let it rot! Go out to London and pretend you are famous, have oysters and wine in Harrods, then go pretend you can afford to buy the lovely clothes/ furniture/accessories and oogle at all the fancy jewellery. Later go to the Chocolate cafe and have the chocolate fondue to share with an amazing mug of the best hot chocolate you will ever have tasted ( not tooo pricey and you will feel great! ) buy a large carrier bag and pop a couple of packs of sweets in it for the kids ( so you don't feel bad leaving them at home!). If its a nice day go to the park and smooch like you are teenagers, take a picture of your feet together and post on FB. find a hotel and.....Sleep!
