I want to see how many of you out there do not have full custody and pay child support for DP kids? and how many of you have full custody and get child support from the other parent? how hard or easy is it for your house hold financially?

As I explained my story in my first post.. We don't get any financial help from Bio mom due to the divorce stating she didn't have to pay anything for up to 9 months after the divorce was final... and believe me, she is the type that is not going to pitch in $5.00 if she doesn't have too.

So DP and I can not wait until we can claim for child support.. we aren't struggling by any means.. but it would really help out situation, and it's about time for her to step up the plate.

If it helps. DP pays EXW for his 16yr old even though she promised not to go to CSA as we had the other son, but did as soon as the one we have turned 18 even though he doesnt work. And my EXH has now stopped paying for my children as he has now married and has two DSC, even though they are only 6 and 8. Raw deal. we basically pay EXW and we get nothing for any of the DCs and DSS. We definately dont have it as I started college in september. When is your situ going to change ?

I have been seperated for 8 years and didn't have a penny of child support for 7 of those years and now get £20 per week. DS bus fare is nearly that to get to school.

DP pays above CSA rates to his ex wife and also pays for all their mobile phones and all toys, clothes etc. whilst they are with us 3 days a week. He also pays for half of school uniform and half of any school clubs or trips.

Ex wife doesn't take the children out anywhere, so we do nice days out and lots and lots of twoing and fro-ing on our days and also on ex wifes days otherwise kids would miss out.
