My DSC's have been on holiday with mum for a week and I've really enjoyed the quiet and freedom! Don't get me wrong, I love them to bits and I'll be so pleased to see them again in another weeks time. It's just been so nice to spend some time with DP and to have no tention, like we do a lot of the time when when they're around.

I suppose I'm able to relax and do what I want for a change.

Is it very bad that I feel like this?

My DP's DD has been away with her mother for a week and I have been so relaxed and happy and I don't feel guilty in the least!

MN2 - enjoy the peace and quiet, as you know it won't last when they return, so make the most of it.
