Getting Fit at home

Ive been ill and lost weight (yay! to the weight, not so much the illness!).

I'd like to maintain this, and possibly lose more, or at least tone the wobbly bits - separately to any walks/swimming/chasing DS. I'm really not fit at the moment so would like to start gently, but doing something that doesn't bore me silly. I'm thinking maybe a DVD/fitness programme.

Ideally I'd like to do something for 20-30 minutes a day in the house while DS naps, but that doesnt use any equipment (other than maybe tins of beans!) and can be done in limited space.

Can anyone recommend something?

Bumping this, because I could have posted this! I too want to do some home-stuff, as can't get out regularly.

I have downloaded the 30 day shred, and don't think that needs any equipment (well tins of beans will do for weights) for the first 10 days that I know, not sure about the other 20.

I also bought one of those big pink exercise ball, which the kids love, but which I have never done anything with. If anyone has any tips for that, it would be appreciated.

Lots of pilates and yoga videos on youtube to work out for 20 minutes.

Walking the pushchair for ten minutes in one direction and then trying to beat your time home - will make another twenty minutes.

might be worth using a pedometer?
Since i discorved the one on my ipod i've become a little fixated with clocking up as many steps per day as i can!

I have started doing a beginners Pilates DVD at home and it's made me feel brilliant! Even after a couple of goes I feel less achy and a bit more strength in my back. It's really low/no impact but definitely works you hard. If you've been poorly I think it's a very good place to start. Relaxing de stresser at the same time. Good luck. X
