Hello smile

I wondered if anyone knew where I could get some ski trousers from - I am not a huge fan of the really padded ones; so something more streamlined.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Go to a proper independent outdoor/mountaineering shop eg: Cotswold Outdoor (in many towns, despite the name) or Go Outdoors and see what they have in 'soft shell'. This is like hardwearing, windproof fleece with a durable outer face.

That's great thank you. I looked in Cotswold today but they had barely anything. We have a Go Outdoors too, so will see what they have.

Have you tried snow and rock, stores or online, or maybe the North Face?

TK Maxx is always worth a check too.

I got mine from tesco's a couple of years ago... they're ideal for walking the dog when its really cold smile

Thanks ladies. TX Maxx had next to nothing- 2 pairs of trousers in XL. I have left it quite late as we leave on Wednesday a.m.!

Going to go to Go Outdoors tomorrow and see what's what.

These are nice and quite a bargain but still a lot more than you would pay if TK Maxx hadnt sold out. For cheap ones Decathalon are pretty good.

Thank you all. I went to a specialist ski-shop and feel sick at how much I have spent on ski pants!!! Keeping that quiet from dh smile

Sex you will not regret it when you are warm and cosy on a mysteriously-stopped ski lift though.

That's true, and it is due to be minus 11 where we are off to next Friday!! Plus they will be used time and time again, and they look quite sexy!

BikeRunSki Sat 04-Feb-12 07:39:06

Sexonlegs Sat 04-Feb-12 08:54:45
